LEMOORE, Calif. — Chipotle Mexican Grill is preparing to open a new location in Lemoore, marking the city’s first restaurant from the popular fast-casual chain.
Earlier this week, the Lemoore Planning Commission reviewed a proposal to divide a 7.61-acre parcel of land into two sections. One of those parcels, located at the southeast corner of W. Hanford Armona Road and Fox Street, is set to become the future site of the Chipotle restaurant.
The new establishment will occupy approximately 0.62 acres and will include a drive-thru dedicated solely to order pickups—part of the brand’s expanding digital order strategy.
The development is being handled by California Gold Development Corporation, a company based in Sonora that specializes in commercial projects across the state.
Currently, the closest Chipotle location to Lemoore is in nearby Hanford. Additional Chipotle restaurants can be found in Visalia and Tulare, making this expansion a significant convenience for Lemoore residents and commuters.
