HILLSBORO, Ore. — Popular Filipino fast-food chain Jollibee will open its first Oregon location this Friday, continuing its expansion across the United States.
The new restaurant will be located at 10875 N.E. Cornell Road in Hillsboro’s Tanasbourne Village shopping area. It marks the brand’s first foray into the Oregon market.
Known for its crispy fried chicken and other Filipino-inspired fast food items, Jollibee is a household name in the Philippines. The company’s parent, Jollibee Group, operates 19 restaurant brands with over 9,900 locations across 33 countries, according to a company news release.
This latest opening is part of a larger U.S. expansion strategy. Since 2023, Jollibee has launched new stores in Tacoma and Seattle. It also has upcoming openings planned in major cities such as San Francisco and New York.
“We are very excited to continue expanding our footprint in the Pacific Northwest with the opening of our very first Jollibee in the State of Oregon — it has been a dream for a long time, and we’re thrilled to finally make it a reality in Hillsboro,” said Maribeth Dela Cruz, Jollibee Business Group Head, in the announcement.
The Hillsboro restaurant officially opens its doors to the public on Friday.
