Shake Shack is set to bring its popular burgers, fries, and shakes to South Hillsboro with a new restaurant opening on June 11. The fast-casual chain will launch its newest Oregon location at 10:30 a.m. at 3651 S.E. Cornelius Pass Road, inside the Reed’s Crossing Town Center, a company spokesperson confirmed to the News-Times.
This will be Shake Shack’s fourth location in Oregon and its third in Washington County, joining existing restaurants at Cedar Hills Crossing in Beaverton and Bridgeport Village in Tigard.
Starting as a humble hot dog cart in New York City in 2001, Shake Shack has grown into a nationwide brand. It is known for its signature burgers, crinkle-cut fries, chicken sandwiches, and shakes. The menu also changes with the seasons and features special limited-time items. Unlike many fast-food chains, Shake Shack offers beer and wine alongside its classic drinks.
To celebrate the opening, the first customers will receive branded tote bags. Additionally, for every sandwich sold on June 11, Shake Shack will donate $1 to the Oregon Food Bank. This initiative is part of the company’s “Stand For Something Good” campaign.
The Hillsboro Shake Shack will be part of Reed’s Crossing Town Center, a 104,000-square-foot commercial development by Gramor Development. The center includes retail shops, dining options, and fitness facilities, supporting the growth of the city’s master-planned community.
