Chick-fil-A is expanding in the Santa Clarita Valley with the grand opening of a new drive-thru-focused restaurant located near Interstate 5 and Magic Mountain Parkway. The new restaurant will open on Thursday and is expected to create around 80 new jobs for the community.
The restaurant, located at 27430 The Old Road, will operate from Monday to Saturday, from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. It will offer several service options, including drive-thru, carry-out, outdoor seating, delivery, and curbside pickup. Customers can access these services through the Chick-fil-A app. To improve the customer experience and reduce wait times, the restaurant features a walk-up window and dual service lanes, as stated in a Chick-fil-A news release.
Tom Williams, a U.S. Navy veteran with over 20 years of military service, will serve as the local owner-operator. Williams also manages the Chick-fil-A location at Valencia Town Center, which is currently under renovation and set to reopen later this year. He leads a team of more than 200 employees across both locations.
“I wanted an opportunity where I could mentor and develop people after my time in the military,” Williams said. “I’m excited to welcome guests to this new Chick-fil-A, where they can see this vision come to life and interact with some familiar faces from our Valencia Town Center location.”
Williams’ wife, Meaghan, will serve as the business operations director, while their children, Chloe and Michael, will also work at the new location.
To celebrate the grand opening, the new restaurant will honor 100 local heroes who have made a difference in the community by giving them free Chick-fil-A meals for a year. Additionally, Chick-fil-A Inc. will donate $25,000 to Feeding America to support local hunger relief efforts through the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, a Feeding America partner.
