HESPERIA, Calif. (VVNG) — McDonald’s will celebrate the grand opening of its newest restaurant in Hesperia with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, May 9, 2025.
The event will take place from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., with the official ribbon-cutting scheduled for 12:10 p.m. Local elected officials, business leaders, and community groups are expected to attend the celebration.
Guests will have the chance to sample McDonald’s newest menu item, the McCrispy Strips, for free during the event.
The new restaurant is owned and operated by Marisol Sanchez, a longtime resident and business leader in the High Desert region. This marks her 11th McDonald’s location in the area. Sanchez and her family have been involved in local community efforts for more than 15 years.
Beyond serving food, Sanchez is committed to giving back. She and her team actively support Rock’n Our Disabilities, an organization that provides programs for individuals with special needs.
As part of the grand opening, Sanchez will present a donation check to Rock’n Our Disabilities. The contribution will also serve as the official sponsorship of this year’s Hesperia Days Parade.
“We’re excited to welcome our neighbors and the community to celebrate our new McDonald’s restaurant,” said Sanchez. “With a full team of 45 employees, we look forward to offering great food and being a place where people can gather and create fun memories in Hesperia.”
The new McDonald’s is located at 11487 Fashion Ct. in Hesperia.
