Santa Clarita residents have a tasty new addition to look forward to. Chick-fil-A is opening a new restaurant off Magic Mountain Parkway, just in time for summer cravings.
The grand opening is scheduled for Thursday, May 8, bringing the famous chicken sandwiches and friendly service that fans have come to expect. The new location is at 27430 The Old Road and offers a drive-thru-focused design, along with a walk-up window for quick carry-out orders. This layout is meant to make dining more convenient for busy customers, whether they’re stopping by during lunch or after a trip to a nearby theme park.
Tom Williams, the Owner-Operator of the new location, has deep roots in the local Chick-fil-A community. This will be his second restaurant in the area.
“I’ve served in the military for over 20 years, and I wanted to find a way to mentor and develop people,” Williams explained.
“I’m excited to bring this vision to life at the new Chick-fil-A on Magic Mountain Parkway, where guests can enjoy some of the same friendly faces they know from the Valencia Town Center location.”
Williams, a U.S. Navy veteran and California native, became a Chick-fil-A Owner-Operator in 2014, running the Valencia Town Center location, which is currently undergoing renovations. The revamped restaurant is expected to reopen later this year.
Williams leads a team of more than 200 people and brings a focus on mentorship and community involvement to his role. His wife, Meaghan, will serve as the Business Operations Director, and their two children, Chloe and Michael, will also be involved in the business.
In addition to serving meals, the new Chick-fil-A will contribute to the community. As part of the opening, Chick-fil-A is donating $25,000 to Feeding America to support hunger relief efforts through the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank. The restaurant will also participate in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table program, which helps redirect surplus food to local nonprofits.
To further honor the community, 100 local heroes will be recognized with free Chick-fil-A meals for a year.
Santa Clarita residents can look forward to a new place to enjoy a delicious meal and experience Chick-fil-A’s commitment to service and community.
