MILLBRAE, CA — Chick-fil-A is bringing its signature fried chicken and hospitality to San Mateo County with the opening of its first Millbrae location. The new restaurant, located at 106 N. Rollins Rd., will officially open its doors on Wednesday.
To celebrate the grand opening, the restaurant is offering free entrées or kids’ meals to guests who arrive dressed in cow-themed attire. The promotion is part of Chick-fil-A’s playful tradition of encouraging customers to wear cow spots or full costumes.
“Whether it’s a full cow suit or a simple cow-spotted accessory, guests of all ages are encouraged to join the fun,” the company said in a press release.
The Millbrae restaurant is owned and operated by Caitlin Martin, a longtime member of the Chick-fil-A family. Originally from Sacramento, Martin began her career with the chain while attending Sacramento State University, working at a local franchise in Elk Grove.
“As someone who has been part of the Chick-fil-A family for more than a decade, I am honored to open the first Chick-fil-A restaurant in Millbrae,” Martin said. “My sister and I started working at our local Chick-fil-A in Elk Grove just a month apart. For both of us to now be selected as local Owner-Operators in the same year is truly a dream come true.”
Martin moved to the Bay Area in 2020 to help open a Chick-fil-A in Redwood City and has since made the Peninsula her home.
She said she is committed to serving the Millbrae community with the same dedication and hospitality that helped her grow within the company. Martin also expressed excitement about providing her team members with opportunities to thrive, just as she once did.
Chick-fil-A, which is known for its customer service and Southern-inspired menu, continues to expand its footprint across California. The Millbrae opening marks another step in its growing presence in the Bay Area.
