Burger King is launching a new limited-time menu inspired by the upcoming live-action film How to Train Your Dragon.
The centerpiece is the “Dragon Flame-Grilled Whopper,” featuring a striking red and orange marbled bun, made with natural spices and vegetables.
The Dragon Flame-Grilled Whopper includes a quarter-pound flame-grilled beef patty, American cheese, crispy bacon, tomatoes, lettuce, onions, pickles, ketchup, and mayo. The unique bun’s vibrant colors are designed to evoke the fiery theme of the movie.
Alongside the Whopper, Burger King will offer other Dragon-themed items:
Fiery Dragon Mozzarella Fries: Mozzarella sticks coated in a spicy Calabrian chili pepper breading, served in a Toothless-inspired container.
Soaring Strawberry Lemonade: A refreshing drink made with real fruit juice.
Viking’s Chocolate Sundae: Vanilla soft serve topped with Hershey’s chocolate syrup and cookie crumbles, inspired by the dragons’ Viking roots.
This is not the first time Burger King has used bold bun colors to promote animated films. Previously, the chain released a red bun Whopper for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and a purple bun Whopper for the Addams Family animated series.
Burger King’s How to Train Your Dragon menu will be available starting May 27. The film hits theaters on June 13.
