Wendy’s Frosty is getting an upgrade, offering fans more exciting choices than ever before. Known for being a favorite frozen treat, the Frosty is now taking a big step beyond its classic chocolate and vanilla flavors.
Recently, the fast-food chain announced that it will no longer switch out the Frosty’s base flavors every few months. Instead, Wendy’s will introduce new flavored sauces and chunky mix-ins. This change is similar to other popular frozen treats like McDonald’s McFlurry or Dairy Queen’s Blizzard, allowing customers to customize their Frosty like never before.
The new Frosty offerings come with updated names. Frostys with dessert sauces are called Frosty Swirls, while those with mix-ins are labeled Frosty Fusions.
There are three Frosty Swirls options:
- Strawberry
- Caramel
- Brownie batter
While all of these can be paired with either vanilla or chocolate Frostys, the combinations seem to shine most with chocolate, especially the strawberry and brownie batter sauces.
Frosty Fusions bring even more exciting choices with these three flavors:
Pop-Tarts Strawberry Frosty Fusion: A mix of strawberry sauce and chunks of Pop-Tarts “Crunchy Poppers.”
Oreo Brownie Frosty Fusion: Brownie batter sauce combined with Oreo pieces.
Caramel Crunch Frosty Fusion: Caramel sauce mixed with crunchy toffee pieces.
The possibilities don’t end there. Customers can get creative by mixing different Frosty flavors, sauces, and add-ins to create their own personalized treat. Imagine a chocolate Frosty with strawberry sauce and Oreo pieces or a vanilla Frosty with brownie batter and toffee bits.
This new Frosty experience promises a fun and delicious twist on the classic favorite.
