Tim Hortons is bringing back its popular Smile Cookie campaign from April 28 to May 4, with all proceeds going to support charities and community groups across Canada.
Local Tim Hortons franchises have selected the organizations they want to support, and the Alliston locations have chosen Matthews House Hospice and the Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation.
“Every year, Tim Hortons restaurant owners, along with their teams and guests, make a significant impact in their communities through the Smile Cookie campaign,” said Axel Schwan, President of Tim Hortons. “Thanks to the generosity of our guests, we raised nearly $18.8 million last year. We invite all Canadians to visit our restaurants and help support Smile Cookie Week—it’s an easy and delicious way to make a difference in your local community, and it’s one of the most heartwarming times of the year for Tim’s fans.”
The Smile Cookies feature Tim Hortons’ new Chocolate Chunk Cookies, which are hand-decorated with pink and blue icing to form a smile.
Each Smile Cookie sold at all three Tim Hortons locations in Alliston will help fund hospice care and healthcare services in the community.
To participate in the campaign, customers can visit their local Tim Hortons or order through the Tim Hortons app for delivery.
This year, there is also a new addition—a reversible Smile Cookie plushie. Net proceeds from plushie sales will also be donated to local community groups.
