MANSFIELD, Texas — MOD Pizza has rolled out its new summer campaign, “When Every Ingredient Shines,” available now through August 10 at all MOD Pizza locations across the country. As part of the seasonal promotion, the fast-casual chain has introduced three limited-time pizzas, each crafted to highlight creativity and personalization in every slice.
My colleague Chris Waits and I visited the MOD Pizza in Mansfield to sample the new offerings. The summer menu features three specialty pizzas—Meaty, Veggie, and Posh—each designed to offer bold flavors while showcasing fresh ingredients.
Hearty Flavors in the Meaty Masterpiece
The Meaty Masterpiece includes signature tomato sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, mild Italian sausage, bacon, and ground beef. This hearty combination is a standout for meat lovers. Chris, a frequent customer at both the Mansfield and Midlothian MOD locations, usually prefers just one or two toppings. However, he found the variety of meats on the Meaty Masterpiece to be well-balanced and satisfying.
“This one might be perfect for Father’s Day,” Chris said.
Colorful and Fresh: The Veggie Masterpiece
The Veggie Masterpiece offers a vibrant mix of ingredients, including tomato sauce, mozzarella, aged parmesan, green peppers, black olives, mushrooms, red onions, vine-ripened tomatoes, and oregano. It’s a visually stunning pizza loaded with fresh vegetables. I found it just as delicious as it looked. With each bite, you get a sense of eating healthy without sacrificing flavor.
To finish our meal, we shared a warm Mega Chocolate Chip Pizza. This indulgent dessert was fresh from the oven and rich in flavor—a perfect sweet ending.
A Custom Experience and Over 40 Toppings
A key part of MOD’s appeal is its focus on customization. Guests can choose from over 40 toppings, eight finishing sauces, and eight salad dressings. At the Mansfield location, team member Amy guided us through the ordering process, helped with drink and dessert selections, and expertly prepared our pizzas. Watching the team assemble your meal right in front of you adds to the personal touch.
Nationwide Catering Now Available
In addition to its seasonal menu, MOD Pizza launched a nationwide catering service on May 5. Franchise locations are expected to follow with the service rollout on June 2. The catering menu features easy-to-share bundles of Signature Pizzas and Salads, such as the Maddy Cheese Pizza or classic Pepperoni. These packages are ideal for office lunches, parties, and community gatherings.
For more personalized group meals, MOD offers boxed lunches with customizable sides. Customers can also add favorites from the regular menu, maintaining the brand’s hallmark of personalization.
“At MOD, we believe that important moments happen over meals,” said a company spokesperson. “Being part of our guests’ celebrations is core to who we are. With catering, we can bring people together with food made to suit everyone.”
