HILLSBORO, Ore. — Filipino fast-food giant Jollibee will open its first Oregon restaurant this Friday, May 30. The new location will be at 1951 N.W. 185th Avenue in Hillsboro’s Tanasbourne Village, a spokesperson confirmed.
Jollibee is famous for its crispy fried chicken, known as Chickenjoy, and its unique Filipino-style spaghetti, which features a sweet sauce and sliced hot dogs. The chain has grown rapidly, now operating over 1,600 restaurants in 17 countries worldwide. In North America alone, Jollibee has more than 100 locations, including a recent opening in Seattle last June.
The Hillsboro restaurant will offer dine-in, takeout, and drive-thru services daily from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Online ordering will be available soon. The company plans special promotions and giveaways for customers during the opening weekend.
Fans in Oregon have eagerly awaited Jollibee’s arrival since the announcement in 2022. The new restaurant takes over the former Chevys Fresh Mex space, marking a significant milestone for the brand’s expansion in the Pacific Northwest.
Jollibee’s arrival is expected to bring a fresh and flavorful fast-food option for locals, combining Filipino comfort food with fast-food convenience.
