Wendy’s and Cheez-It are teaming up for a bold new collaboration, bringing a twist to their respective fan favorites. This summer, the two brands will release a new product that promises to capture the attention of snack lovers and fast food enthusiasts alike.
Food blogger Markie Devo recently shared details about the collaboration, revealing that Cheez-It has been working on a new creation: Baconator Crackers. These crackers will feature Cheez-It’s signature 100% real cheese flavor, infused with the essence of Wendy’s popular Baconator burger. While an official launch date has yet to be confirmed, sources suggest that the Baconator Crackers will hit stores in August, available wherever Cheez-It products are sold nationwide.
The Baconator has been a cornerstone of Wendy’s menu since its debut in 2007. Known for its hearty combination of quarter-pound beef patties, American cheese, crispy bacon, and a mix of ketchup and mayonnaise, it has become one of the fast food chain’s most beloved offerings, on par with the Whopper at Burger King and the Big Mac at McDonald’s.
Cheez-It’s partnership with Wendy’s follows a history of bold product launches. In 2024, the company introduced a Cheezy Ranch flavor, inspired by Hidden Valley Ranch, and collaborated with Taco Bell to create the Big Cheez-It. This product replaced traditional tortillas with giant Cheez-It crackers for some of Taco Bell’s best-known menu items.
While some may be skeptical about this unexpected pairing, Cheez-It fans are no strangers to adventurous flavors, having previously released unique varieties such as Buffalo Wing, Sizzlin’ Bacon, and Cheese Pizza. The upcoming Baconator Crackers are expected to be another hit for the innovative brand.
