UNITED KINGDOM — Following the successful launch of its first UK branch in London last December, American fast food sensation Dave’s Hot Chicken is now preparing to open two new restaurants outside the capital. The growing chain, backed by celebrities including Drake, Usher, and Samuel L. Jackson, is set to bring its fiery menu to Birmingham and Manchester this summer.
The Birmingham location will open its doors on New Street on July 1, while the Manchester branch is scheduled to launch at Printworks on August 8. These new sites mark the second and third UK outposts for the brand, which has become known for long queues, social media buzz, and a spice level so intense it requires a waiver.
Dave’s Hot Chicken originally launched in London to huge crowds, often requiring a security guard to manage lines stretching down the street. Six months later, the London restaurant continues to attract large numbers of eager customers, a testament to its popularity and cult following.
The menu at the Birmingham and Manchester restaurants will feature the chain’s signature offerings — including sliders, chicken tenders, a range of sides, and milkshakes — all served with a choice of seven spice levels, ranging from mild to the infamous “Reaper” level, which customers must sign a waiver to try.
The UK expansion is part of a larger plan to establish a strong presence nationwide. While specific future locations have yet to be announced, the company has confirmed its goal to open seven UK restaurants by the end of the year.
As demand for spicy comfort food continues to grow, Dave’s Hot Chicken appears ready to satisfy cravings across the country. For now, fans in Birmingham and Manchester won’t have to wait long to get their first taste.
Stay tuned for updates on the next locations as the brand continues its UK rollout.
