Starbucks has partnered with Brazilian fashion and lifestyle brand FARM Rio to create a limited-edition collection of drinkware, just in time for summer. The collaboration, which showcases vibrant designs inspired by Brazil’s natural beauty, will be available at Starbucks locations across the U.S. and Canada starting May 13. It will also hit stores in Brazil and select markets in Latin America and the Caribbean on May 20.
The collection features colorful drinkware adorned with FARM Rio’s signature prints, inspired by the lush landscapes of Brazil. This marks the second collaboration between Starbucks and FARM Rio, following their successful 2022 launch in Asia. Mariana Flores Rios, Starbucks’ brand and product marketing lead for Latin America and the Caribbean, expressed excitement about the collection, saying, “We hope these unique prints will brighten our customers’ day, adding a burst of color and happiness to their mornings.”
FARM Rio is known for blending traditional craftsmanship with modern designs, infusing their collections with vibrant colors and artisan flair. “We believe summer isn’t just a season, it’s a state of mind,” said Mariana Leal, Head of Collaborations and Partnerships at FARM Rio. “This collaboration with Starbucks celebrates the vibrant energy and colors that embody our spirit.”
The collection includes several standout items:
Borogodo: A 20-ounce stainless steel water bottle featuring colorful embroidery and beadwork, inspired by the Brazilian term “Borogodo,” meaning “free spirit.”
Board Banana: A 24-ounce cold cup wrapped in FARM Rio’s playful Board Banana pattern, with a fun banana straw topper.
Lenço Azulejo: A serene 24-ounce stainless tumbler and 14-ounce ceramic mug adorned with a blue-and-white azulejo tile pattern, featuring birds like the macaw and toucan, both native to Brazil.
