A new fast food restaurant, Sea Salt, has opened in Macroom, receiving warm support from the local community.
Located on Castle Street in the heart of the mid-Cork town, Sea Salt has taken over the building that previously housed Val’s Takeaway. The restaurant offers a wide range of takeaway options for its customers.
Owner Arshed Ali expressed his gratitude for the community’s backing. “We are thrilled with the support we’ve received. The people of Macroom have been incredibly cooperative,” he told The Echo.
Ali emphasized the restaurant’s commitment to freshness, stating, “We aim to serve everything fresh, using local farmers and sourcing our fish from West Cork. Our goal is to offer the best quality food in town.”
The response from the local community has been overwhelmingly positive, and Ali extended his thanks to everyone for their support.
