Burger King has officially reopened its Reading branch after a major redesign, welcoming customers back to enjoy classic menu items in a refreshed setting.
The newly renovated restaurant, located at Proctor End North near Imperial Way, opened its doors to the public on Tuesday, June 18. The fast food chain is inviting local residents to enjoy popular choices such as the flame-grilled Whopper, Chicken Royale, and the Bacon Double XL.
As part of the reopening, the restaurant now features updated in-store innovations, including table service. To mark the occasion, a Ben & Jerry’s scoop truck will be stationed outside the restaurant from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on the day of the reopening. Customers who make any purchase will receive a free scoop of ice cream.
Suren Gurung, Restaurant Manager at Burger King UK, shared his excitement:
“The team and I are thrilled to be back in Reading. We’re looking forward to seeing both familiar and new faces enjoy everything our redesigned restaurant has to offer. We know our guests will have a great time enjoying their meals here.”
The restaurant has also introduced extended operating hours. It now opens daily at 7 a.m., offering its full menu from early morning until late at night. Dine-in service is available from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., while takeaway and drive-thru services are available until 4 a.m.
Burger King is also encouraging customers to take advantage of exclusive deals and discounts available through its mobile app.
