Elk Grove is set to welcome two new fast food restaurants, Jollibee and Angry Chickz, officials confirmed.
The Ridge Elk Grove shopping center announced on Instagram in early May that the Filipino-inspired chain Jollibee will open a location there later this year. The post shared excitement about the popular fried chicken, saying, “Our mouths are already watering as we count down the days until we can snack on some of their famous fried chicken.” Specific details about the opening date have not yet been released. This will be Jollibee’s second location in the Sacramento area.
Meanwhile, Angry Chickz, known for its Nashville-style hot chicken, announced plans to open at the Elk Grove Commons shopping center, located at the corner of Elk Grove Boulevard and Bruceville Road. This will be the first Angry Chickz in Elk Grove, marking the chain’s 27th location in California and its 30th overall.
David Mkhitaryan, founder and CEO of Angry Chickz, expressed enthusiasm about the new site. He said, “We’re excited to open our 30th location in Elk Grove. This community has an incredible energy, and we can’t wait to introduce our craveable menu and an unforgettable dining experience. We also look forward to building strong connections with the people who make this city special.”
