PUEBLO, Colo. — Popular Texas-based fast-food chain Whataburger is set to open its first Pueblo restaurant on Friday, May 23, at 11 a.m., marking another step in the company’s expansion across Colorado.
Located at 2850 West Pueblo Boulevard, the new restaurant features a modern layout including a spacious dining room, dual-lane drive-thru, and digital menu boards. Inside, guests will find a custom mural showcasing iconic Pueblo landmarks, adding a local touch to the national chain.
The Pueblo location employs 85 staff members, all hired from the local community, according to the company.
As part of its grand opening celebration, Whataburger is offering special giveaways. The first customer in the drive-thru and the first in line for dine-in service will each receive a Whataburger gift basket. In addition, the next 100 guests will receive complimentary gifts.
Among its offerings, Whataburger is also bringing back the limited-time Dr Pepper Shake, a fan favorite, available exclusively at select locations.
The new store marks Whataburger’s continued growth in Colorado, following a series of recent openings across the state since its return in 2022.
