In a surprising shift for a fast-casual restaurant, Noodles & Company is expanding its menu beyond basic offerings to feature chef-curated dishes. This strategic move aims to attract a wider range of customers by appealing to diverse tastes.
The restaurant industry has been hit hard by slowing consumer spending and rising inflation. Even top chains face declining sales and have closed multiple locations due to underperformance. Such changes are often last-resort measures to reduce costs and avoid further debt.
Against this challenging backdrop, Noodles & Company has successfully reversed its downward trend with a fresh approach.
Partnering with Food Network, Noodles & Company has introduced four new noodle dishes chosen as favorites by the network’s experts. The new menu items include Basil Pesto Cavatappi, Buffalo Chicken Ranch Mac & Cheese, Rigatoni Rosa with Parmesan Chicken, and Lemon Garlic Shrimp Scampi.
“We’re excited to introduce guests to a lineup of reimagined favorites and bold new flavors that showcase our culinary expertise,” said Stephen Kennedy, Senior Vice President of Marketing for Noodles & Company, in a statement.
Kennedy added, “It’s an honor to have four of our most popular noodle bowls selected by the experts at Food Network as ‘Food Network Favorites.’ These dishes promise to deliver comfort, indulgence, and creativity in every bowl—just as we always strive to do.”
With these new offerings, Noodles & Company hopes to win back customers and strengthen its position in a competitive market.
